  1. Keep your treadmill clean at all times

The number one and easiest way to maintain your treadmill is to keep it spotless and clean at all times.  You can make use of a dry and clean cloth to remove dust and any kind of particles that may stick on it.  Also, the cloth can be used to remove the sweat on the handrails. Make sure you clean the deck and the belt as well which too may get dirty due to regular use. These steps help to prevent corrosion and slow working due to dust particles. This step must be followed after every use.

  1. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean difficult parts

Once you have cleaned all the parts of the treadmill using the cloth, now you must make use of the vacuum cleaner to clear off dust from areas that the cloth might not be able to reach. Use the vacuum cleaner to clean the area between the conveyer belt and the main frame. This helps to keep the conveyer belt running without glitches. You can also clean the remaining part of the belt by rotating it a little bit. This step must be followed atleast once a week.
