1. Defective power switch

3. Battery not connected

4. Battery terminals are rusty or corroded

REASON: Another one of the most common reasons for inverter not working is rusty or corroded battery terminals.

SOLUTION: For this, you may need to check the terminals. In case they are corroded then try clearing them with a dry cloth. Put them back again and try turning the appliance on. If it works, then the problem has been solved and if not, then you need to check for another problem.

5. Battery is weak or faulty

6. Battery is discharged

REASON: Another reason for inverter not working could be a discharged battery.

    I have the same issue with my cat cpi1000 but the USB ports on at work just fine but when I try to plug in anything else no matter how small it won’t work I can’t find the fuse to replace and I checked the back none of the wires are loose or worn out looking so I don’t know what to do l what caused it or how to fix it
