1. Onion, Garlic and Pepper Solution

Take 1 liter of water in a mug, add 1 garlic clove paste, 1 onion paste, 1 teaspoon of pepper powder and 1 tablespoon of liquid soap. Mix all ingredients well. Let the mixture stand for 1 hour. Now soak some cotton balls in this mixture. Keep these soaked cotton balls at all places where cockroaches frequently visit. This will keep cockroaches away from your home.

2. Bay leaves

Almost every Indian kitchen has this ingredient in their spice jars. Bay leaf has a very strong pungent but nice smell. So crush some bay leaves and keep them in your kitchen shelves or corners. The smell of these leaves will drags these cockroaches away from your home.

3. Borax

Kitchen/bathroom drainage is the most common place from where cockroaches make an entry in your home. Sprinkle some borax powder in the kitchen and bathroom drainage. The cockroaches will get poisoned and once the poisoned intruders go back to their nest, they will infect the rest of the lot.

Caution: Keep Borax out of the reach of kids and pets in your home. So the best time to apply this tip is when there is no one at home or during night when everyone is sleeping.
